About Me
Greetings! My name is Dominick Zimmermann. I have my Bachelor's in both Theater Arts and Psychology from New Mexico State University, and I'm currently pursuing a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from NMSU as well. Some would call me compassionate, coy and even a bit overtly sarcastic. However, these traits are what make me whole. I can't imagine going through life without throwing out a little sarcastic quip here and there. I'm a positively peculiar person who believes that humor is one of the best ways to cope with almost anything.
Artistic Statement
My passion for acting sprouts from my enthusiasm for comedy. I simply love to entertain people by making them make laugh. However, I feel like I also enjoy comedy for another, unusual reason. From my experience in the field of Psychology, I've realized there's many professors; some are very formal and rigid, while others are astoundingly eccentric and quite funny. I also realized I learn better from the exciting, stimulating professors who realize the field of Psychology is as humorous as it is peculiar. This thought process is would lead me to acting. It's the perfect kind of opportunity to not only entertain people, but it's also an opportunity to possibly inform people about pretty much anything.
